A Coastal Calling
There’s something hugely enticing about a nautical inspired bedroom aesthetic. It can’t help but be light, fresh and reminiscent of beautiful seaside escapes and quant coves hidden along the coast.
We wanted to create an opulent look and feel, with strokes of dark navy and an abundance of crisp white as the colour palette, set off brilliantly against dark wood. There’s an attention to detail within the simplicity. Nothing is over complicated, yet it’s perfectly detailed. This elegant bedroom look is inspired by luxurious yacht design and is thoroughly nautical, but there’s not an anchor in sight.

Marvellous Maya
Lovingly designed by one of our in-house Buyers, our Maya Bed is striking in so many ways and is a key piece in our Regatta bedroom look. Its clean straight lines are prominent yet soft, with the headboard featuring a striking parquet chevron pattern which will instantly create a statement in your bedroom.
Atop Maya is our very luxurious Hotel Collection Vienna Bed Linen. With its 600 thread count and double Oxford edge, this sophisticated and exceedingly soft linen is perfect to cocoon yourself in after a wonderfully windswept day by the sea.
Light and dark contrasts
By keeping your bed linen and accessories light and bright, there is no reason to hold back on using co-ordinating dark wood furniture, such as our matching Maya Bedside. Mirroring the same chevron design as the Maya Bed, this bedside does nothing but complement the entire room and its opulent aesthetic. And wood is, of course, a key characteristic in a nautical inspired look, so for us, this beautiful bedside was a must.
Textured accessories
We’ve kept our accessories palette restricted to two core colours – dark navy and white for an elegant, sophisticated look. But importantly, we’ve used lots of different textures, both subtle and striking to create pops of interest that you can see and touch.
We’ve used our Navy Velvet Cushion for a hit of deep colour, our gorgeous Shibori Cushion creates visual interest with its indigo inky effect, which we adore, and our Bora White Cushion brings freshness and a relaxed, timeless sophistication.
You can never have too many throws, and we’ve got two of our favourites adorning this look – our Cotton Herringbone Navy Throw which looks as lovely draped over the end of your bed as it would draped around your shoulders on cool coastal evenings. And our Bora White Throw brings texture in abundance with its matelassé weave.
