A small double is 6 foot 3 inches long which equates to 190cm. A small double is the same length as a standard double bed, and 10cm shorter than a king size upwards. Consider the length of the tallest person sleeping in the bed to make sure they’ll get a comfortable night’s sleep. Ideally your mattress or bed should be at least 10cm longer than the tallest person sleeping on it.
The width of a small double bed is 4 foot, which is the same as 120cm. A small double bed is narrower than a double bed by 15cm, which you’ll need to consider if two people are sleeping in it but provides a spacious night’s sleep for solo sleepers.
