Emperor beds

Emperor mattresses are 6 foot 6 inches by 6 foot 6 inches or W200cm x L200cm. Offering an abundance of space, you are guaranteed a great night’s sleep with ample space for two people (and the kids!) to sleep in every type of sleeping position.

While both styles share an identical length of 6 feet 6 inches, the emperor bed introduces an extra foot of width. This increase in scale creates a remarkably spacious environment, ideal for pristine, uninterrupted rest.

Creating a harmonious bedroom space requires balancing furniture with negative space. Everything needs room to breathe. That's why we recommend placing your bed frame against your widest wall and use it as a focal point around which to add other furniture. Allow a gap of up to 15cm either side of the bed for access, up to 30cm for a sense of indulgent spaciousness.

Most of our large wooden and upholstered emporer bed frames arrive in component parts to navigate staircases and tight corners effortlessly. Our white-glove delivery team handles the lifting and precise assembly directly in your chosen room, leaving you to simply enjoy the transformation.

We don't recommend using super king bedding on an emporer bed because it doesn't fit. A super king duvet or fitted sheet will lack the necessary width and depth to cover a 200cm x 200cm mattress properly, leading to exposed mattress edges and tight corners. Only emperor-size bedding can do your bed justice in terms of size and comfort.
