Will it fit? How to measure your home for delivery

A Feather & Black delivery is always an exciting event. And we want to make sure your perfect purchase is a perfect fit. But many of our products, particularly mattresses, are large and need to be carried all the way through your home. 
And while our expert delivery service can work wonders, it’s important that you make sure your purchase can get into your home safely.
Here’s how you can help.

Make sure it fits through every space

Your new purchase might fit perfectly in your bedroom, but can you get it in there? Measure the lowest and narrowest points in your home:

Doorways

•    Measure the height and width of your doorways.
•    Be mindful of doorhandles and hinges.

Staircases
•    Measure the lowest point of the ceiling over the stairs, taken at 90° angle to your stairs. 
•    Measure across the corner where two walls meet at the top of the stairs.
•    Measure at an angle where an obstruction, such as a bannister, ends (see diagram).
