Harrison Spinks is a fifth-generation family bedmaker, representing the best in British manufacturing. For over 180 years, Harrison Spinks have been building high quality mattresses the traditional way.
From humble beginnings, the business now has over 700 employees, from farmers who rear sheep to craftspeople who use perfected skills to sew, stitch and tuft each mattress by hand to the highest standard. Harrison Spinks represents the best in British manufacturing.
Homegrown at the Harrison Spinks farm
When it comes to crafting a great night’s sleep, natural materials are best for wicking away moisture and regulating body temperature. And many of those natural materials start life on the Harrison Spinks farm in North Yorkshire.
They rear their own show-winning sheep and grow their own hemp to ensure the finest natural, responsibly sourced mattress fillings.
Each luxury layer is then carefully blended at the factory, just 18 miles up the road, to create sumptuous levels of natural comfort, guaranteeing excellence without pesticides or other chemicals.

Handcrafted Luxury
All mattresses are handmade to order and tailored to each individual customer. Skilled craftspeople use time-honoured, traditional bedmaking techniques to hand-sew, side stitch, and tuft every mattress, resulting in beautiful beds of the highest quality.
From the first twist of wire to the last swatch of colour, every mattress is bespoke. In the end you’ll have a bed that adjusts itself to you, not the other way around.
100% LUXURIOUS, 100% TRACEABLE
All of the mattress fillings are from ethically sourced British farms, reducing the carbon footprint and supporting local communities. Harrison Spinks has proudly partnered with British Wool to ensure that all the wool used is traceable from farm to factory. The scheme allows full transparency on where in Britain the wool comes from and gives peace of mind that the farmer has received a fair price for their wool.
Harrison Spinks also works closely with the RSPB and Natural England to make sure the ecosystem on their farm is nourished and thriving.

These springs work in harmony with their unique, ground-breaking and award-winning Micro Springs. With up to 5,000 Micro Springs in each layer, this innovative technology is a sustainable replacement for foam.

But every one contains the highest quality natural fillings and the innovative spring technology.
Mattress Types
Seasonal Turn
A seasonal turn mattress has two different sleeping surfaces that should be turned to coincide with the seasons. With warming wool blends on one sleeping surface for winter and cooling cotton blends on the other for summer. Our Seasonal Turn mattresses ensure you are at exactly the right temperature all year round.
Traditional Turn Free
Ideal if you don’t want to flip your mattress, with one sleeping surface, a no-turn mattress offers all the support you would expect, but without the need to flip it over.
Pillowtop
Wrap yourself in luxury every night with a pillowtop mattress. With the addition of a sumptuous topper, you sink into the mattress as it cradles your body, providing the ultimate comfort.
