Not to be confused with a mattress protector which sits on top of your mattress, this pad sits underneath your mattress and on top of the bed base, and it attaches to the base with string ties and eyelets. This pad, essential for slatted bases, provides a protective layer between your mattress and the base of your bedstead, extending the life of your mattress and enhancing comfort.
