Sienna Bedstead King - It's a brilliant bed and I'm sure that will last long. The only thing we noticed that the wood head headboard joints colour slightly not matching but otherwise absolutely perfect.

Sienna Bedstead King - Bed is damaged. Wood coming apart at the end of the bed. Was told by delivery men that someone would be in touch within 2 days to come and replace the part that is damaged. This hasn't happened.
I do apologise that no-one has been in touch regarding the issue with your bed. We cannot just replace parts of the bed unfortunately but if you are able to send a photo of the problem directly to me, we can then determine the best course of action in terms of getting a technician out or whether the whole bed needs to be replaced.<br/>Best regards<br/>Sally @ Feather & Black

Sienna Bedstead Superking - I was a little disappointed there wasn't a better base under mattress other than the wooden slats and I thought the base would be a little higher off the ground. It is marginally too low for elderly guests. Thought there would be more support but guests thought it very comfortable.

Sienna Bedstead King - After very good in store service, we've been very upset at the after service. The delivery guys have damagaed our ceiling when delivering our bed. We are still trying to arraneg compensation/repair. F&B Chiswick have passed on to the delivery service who are being very slow on it. Feels like F&B have passed the buck. Shocking attitused after spending £ thousands!
I am so sorry to hear of the damage to your property. Please do not feel that we are passing the buck, it is simply that all deliveries are out sourced to a third party delivery company who have the necessary insurance in place to cover potential damage claims. Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback and apologies for the late response but I needed to investigate this with both our delivery partners and the showroom. I understand that as you were only able to accept delivery after 4pm there was a delay in agreeing a convenient date. But a day when the crew would be in your area around that time was eventually agreed. You also mentioned to the delivery depot that the showroom had agreed to assemble your bed and as this is a chargeable service, they could not add this without clarifying with the Bristol showroom who had no record of this agreement and the lady from the depot subsequently called you back to explain this. On the day of delivery, this same lady at your local depot received a call from the crew querying the assembly as you had advised them that it had been agreed. I am so sorry that you are unhappy with the delivery service and any inconvenience caused but feel that our delivery partners have done everything that they could to accomodate your requested timescale.<br/>Kind regards<br/>Sally @ Feather & Black

Sienna Bedstead King - The bed I wanted not available, the order not put through as fast track, the order not confirmed with the warehouse so no communication of when it would arrive and delay in order being received, an email sent saying I still owed £600 when I had paid the full amount, the wrong mattress tension sent and still not changed despite me calling and being told I would receive the correct mattress. All round appalling service.

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. I am sorry for the confusion over the assembly service, this is something that should always be offered if an item needs assembling. If this option is declined, then the showroom will note on the order confirmation "No Assembly" so that it is completely clear for both the customer and the delivery crew. Regardless of whether goods are being assembled or not, the delivery crew should unpack all items and take the packaging away so apologies that this didn't happen. <br/><br/>With regards to the problem with the bed, it was myself that booked the technicians visit and I have been following the progress of the job. I am a little confused when you say that the repair team were disinterested as I have been informed by company that we use for repairs that they have not been successful in actually completing a visit to you. The first appointment was booked for 15th April but when the technician called you en route, you advised that you thought that the appointment was for a different date. Another appointment was made but on this occasion, upon arrival at your property, the only person present was your cleaner who would not allow access. Sienna Bedstead Superking - Love the design of the bedstead and it was very easy to assemble. There appears to be a design flaw in the metal connectors as when we flipped the mattress (as advised to do) it caught on one of the metal connectors which ripped part of the mattress
I am so sorry to hear that the mattress has torn on the frame of the bed, this is most unusual as there shouldn't be any metal edges to catch on. Would it be at all possible to send me through a photograph of the tear in the mattress and also the part of the bed that it caught on? Sienna Bedstead Superking - I am still waiting for new mattress from a different store, so haven't slept on the bed yet, therefore cannot comment on what the bedstead is good or not. but so far it is very easy to assemble, so just looking at it, it is good.

The issue that you were finding with fumes from the Tempur mattress was the first of it's kind that we had heard of and I believe that it was a lack of knowledge of the problem rather than a reluctance to help. Tracey did refer to Tempur for guidance and they were more than happy to send another mattress but you felt that the fumes were disippating and it was left that you would contact us should you decide that a replacement was required. Sienna Bedstead King - reasonable overall service & Lovely bed. Delivery timescale was much longer than promised however was worth it when the bed finally arrived. Would have expected that F&B would cover assembly cost considering cost of the bed.

Sienna Bedstead Double - I was happy enough with the service until it came around to the delivery date. There was some confusion in relation to paying the final balance prior to the goods being delivered from your distribution centre and this was never at any time made clear to me until I called the store to enquire. This resulted in a delay in the goods being delivered to me and caused great inconvenience as I had taken annual leave from work to arrange for the room to be decorated and take delivery of the bed. I was very disappointed and had to wait almost a full month after the date I was assured the bed would be delivered which could have been avoided had the communication been better and this information made clear to me. I had the funds available ready and waiting to pay the balance had I known the whole situation could have been avoided.

Sienna Bedstead King - Unfortunately the balance on the order was taken before all the items were together. There was a delay on the 5 drawer chest and a couple phone calls were required to find out what was happening. We were then told that all items were at the distribution centre and we would receive a call within the week to arrange delivery. A week + went by with no call. Another call to F&B was required to find out the situation. They then called distribution centre who then called us back straight away to arrange delivery. An unfortunate chain of events but F&B were always extremely helpful and apologetic.

Sienna Bedstead King - Thought the staff and over overall communication was very good. Only challenge is I was told you could deliver on a Saturday which you don't this made it a little tricky for me. Apart from that all good.

Sienna Bedstead Superking - I was very happy with the in-store staff but the delivery was a let down. My front door was damaged and a bedside table and wall in my bedroom was also damaged. I didn't notice most of the damage till the delivery men were gone so felt it was too late to complain.

Sienna Bedstead King - Was expecting the bed to be assembled when delivered, i ordered the bed over the phone direct with feather and black.Obviously, i hadn't been made awhere of the fact that you have to pay extra for this service,after spending the best part of £2500 i just assumed this was all included.The delivery men just left me with a bed still boxed up, didn't want to even unwrap it and then left!
After a few phone calls to feather and black,and a very helpful member of staff at the T wells branch,I resolved the problem to my satisfaction.
I am so sorry to hear of the misunderstanding with regards to the assembly of the bed that you purchased. All of our sales staff are fully aware that assembly is to be offered and the cost of this should be made clear. If the customer choses not to take this option, then a "No Assembly" option is selected against the order and this would appear on the customers order confirmation as it does on yours. As soon as we became aware of the situation, as a gesture of goodwill we did refund you the amount that you would have paid for assembly had you been charged for it. <br/><br/>With regards to the crew not taking the packaging away, we were very concerned when you mentioned that they had quoted you a charge to take this away. There is no charge for this service and we did raise this issue with the Customer Services Manager from the delivery company. She personally contacted you to discuss this further and during the course of that conversation, it was established that the figure mentioned by the crew was in fact what they 'thought' would be the approximate assembly cost and was nothing to do with taking the packaging away. Regardless, this is something that they should never have discussed with you as they are a third party company. It was also agreed that the delivery crew would return to collect the packaging. I understand that they called you with a proposed delivery date which wasn't acceptable as you needed the bed earlier. You asked if it was possible to collect the bed but unfortunately health & safety legislation does not allow for customers to come into large depots to collect. The offered date was therefore accepted by you. <br/><br/>However, shortly after the telephone conversation, your son arrived at the depot to collect the bed. After some discussion, he was permitted to take the bed as he was already there. <br/><br/>I do appreciate that the date offered wasn't convenient but delivery slots were limited due to the volume of deliveries already booked in order to get goods to customers before Christmas. Sienna Bedstead King - The bed itself is wonderful, thank you. What wasn't so amazing was the horrendous use of polystyrene in the packaging. It took an entire car load to be rid of the card and polystyrene. While I appreciate that you would have taken away the packaging if I had used the assembly service, that still wouldn't solved the sustainability issue. I'm sure you can do better! It's because I care about the environment that I buy long-lasting quality goods, -I'm sure I'm not your only customer that feels that way.

Our furniture is manufactured overseas and then shipped to our warehouse in the UK. Once a product is despatched from our warehouse, it is then subject to yet more handling by the delivery company, 4/5 of the handling actually occurs after despatch. Sienna Bedstead King - I absolutely adore the bed and it looks amazing in my bedroom. My only complaint is that there's some of the whitewash paint on the upholstery. I'm so fed up with complaining (as I've complained a lot recently about other orders I've placed with other companies) I just couldn't bring myself to say anything.

Sienna Bedstead Superking - After sales service was very disappointing. The bed took longer than the stated time to be delivered to F&B's warehouses - at no point were we informed of this. When I followed up, the TCR branch promised to call with an update - they never did. We chose F&B on the basis that the bed could be delivered quickly - and ultimately it was late. When it arrived, the delivery company were supposed to remove the packaging waste from our house - they didn't.
I am so sorry that you were not made aware of the delay on your order. Our stores do check the progress of their orders and should notify customers of any delays. You should not have had to call in yourself and I have spoken to the relevant store who pass on their apologies for the lack of communication in this instance. With regards to the delivery companies failure to dispose of the packaging, we did receive an e-mail from them on the day that the delivery was made to say that you had requested that the Bedstead be left in its packaging. Sienna Bedstead King - had to wait for the bed more than 3 months and had to keep chasing it up. not much help from the feather and black. disappointed with the service. will not recommend.
Thank you for your feedback and I apologise for the delays experienced. I can see that you cancelled your original order and re-ordered a different size bed purely because there was going to be a delay on the original. Unfortunately, we were then made aware that there would also be delays on this new order. I am not in any way going to try and make excuses for these delays, the fact is that the volume of sales on what was, at the time, a relatively new range completely took us by surprise and the manufacturer simply couldn't make them quick enough to keep up with demand. This issue has now been rectified which I appreciate is of no consolation to you but it is important that we learn from these experiences. Sienna Bedstead King - Really poor communication from Feather and Black with regards to our delivery. Had to contact them on a number of occasions to follow up on the the status of delivery as had not been informed. The delivery company were also very poor in terms of agreeing a mutually convenient date (ie only a Tuesday) and could not tell us whether it would be an am or pm delivery until the morning of the delivery - difficult to organise for someone to be there to receive the delivery when working full time. I have written to the customer service department about such issues.
I am so sorry to hear that you were not entirely satisfied with the service you received from us. I have looked at the notes on your order and can see that there was a problem in that we were trying to contact you on a telephone number that wasn't currently in use rather than calling on the alternative number that had subsequently been provided. Sienna Bedstead King - Great furniture but very long lead time, and delivery company had to be chased to actually book a delivery slot (they had my furniture for 2 weeks)
I have spoken to our delivery company regarding the delay in booking your delivery and they have advised that they did attempt to contact you a couple of times before actually managing to speak to you as there was no message facility on the number provided. We are currently working with them to implement the use of e-mail to avoid delays going forwards. Sienna Bedstead King - Happy with product, although mattress does seem a little small for the bed (gaps around the side and does not fit snuggly to frame.)
