Marblehead 4ft6 Storage bed - Really pleased with Feather and Black, but not their delivery company!!!

Marblehead 5ft Storage bed - Good assembly instructions. Robust bed. Legs protrude and I broke my toe on one.

Marblehead 5ft Storage bed - The bed broke the first time it was used. The screws used to keep the central beam in place are wholly inadequate and pulled out of the bed as soon as we both lay down. We have now swapped it for a completely different bed but this has not arrived yet for me to comment on

Thank you for your feedback which I will ensure is passed on to the team at Solihull. I am so sorry that there was a problem with your Marblehead bed. As a result of customer feedback, the specification on this model has been altered slightly to avoid problems of this nature occuring in future. I can see that you have selected the Regency as your replacement bed, but as this is a bespoke item, it does need to be made for you so there will be a slight wait. It is a beautiful bed that I'm sure will be well worth the wait and I do hope that you are delighted with it when it does arrive.

Marblehead 4ft6 Storage bed - One of the brackets for the foot of the bed had not been tapped with a thread. Due to the fact I needed the bed straight away I fixed this myself. Now it is assembled I am very pleased with this product.

I'm so sorry to hear that there was a problem with one of the brackets on the bed when it was delivered. Apologies for the inconvenience this caused and I'm glad that you are otherwise pleased with the goods.

Marblehead 5ft Storage bed - This very expensive bed is meant to be robust enough to hold the heaviest matress sold by Feather and Black. In fact, it is held together by 3mm screws which proved insufficent to hold the matress. We are now awaiting a replacement bed (will take up to 3 weeks from now to deliver) and have had to fix the bed ourselves using longer screws because we have nothing else to sleep on. I fear the replacement will have the same problem

The service provided by our delivery partners includes 2 man delivery to the room of choice, full assembly (if this service has been selected) and disposal of all packaging. When we were made aware that this had not in fact happened, we immediately took this up with the delivery company and by way of apology sent the linen voucher.

I am sorry that it took 3 days for our customer service team to contact you regarding the fault with the bed. We have received a very high volume of calls and e-mails over the last week or so from customers that are keen to finalise deliveries prior to Christmas and this has unfortunately resulted in a slight delay in our usual response time. I can completely understand that the apparent lack of interest in your concerns would add to your frustrations and I do apologise if this is how the person that you spoke to came across.

With regards to the actual bed, the Marblehead has been a constant bestseller in our range for a number of years now and we sell lots of the beds together with Bronte mattresses, and indeed even heavier mattresses, without any problems at all. I am confident that the same issue will not occur with the replacement that my colleague arranged for you yesterday.

Marblehead 4ft6 Storage bed - Very pleased. I bought mattress separately and it fits well to standard 4ft 6 size, drawers underneath prove very useful, and bed is lovely design & finish.
