As autumn is upon us and the nights draw in so begins the annual season of softness - why not indulge in cosy textures and create little nooks around your home to curl up in?
Sometimes I wish I could hibernate to escape the colder chill – as an alternative I have put together some ideas to create small reading corners around the home to cosy up under a throw in.
The Arundel chair with its soft curves is simple and elegant. We love the chair in this light shade of grey, it works well with accents of white and lilac. Pop the chair by a window, one with a radiator to keep your toes warm, and look out at the view and changing colour of leaves...perfectly relaxing.
This delicate slipper chair with rolled corners and soft buttoned detailing is opulent and luxurious. Indulge in a soft chenile throw to wrap around when the nights get cold and you can't put that book down. Pop it in a little nook with a bedside by the side for an essential lamps for reading and tealights for a beautiful warm glow.
Ffor a classic and elegant french look team the Amelie collection with the natural Library chair, the distressed white painted furnture is the perfect backdrop for the broad back, softly curved library chair. Keep a pile of books or magazines and escape the cold.
