How to: Brighten your home with mirrors
Placing a mirror in the right place can make all the difference in your bedroom – they can make the most of a room's natural light, enhances views and opens up a small space. We’ve scoured the web for the best bedroom mirror tips to help you give your interior that missing ingredient.
Full length mirrors
Mirrors which are the same width of the furniture make the piece look purposeful and prominent. Also, placing a mirror in between two windows tricks the eye into thinking there is another window there and helps maximise natural light.
Use a rounded mirror to break up all of those sharp angles and straight lines. A sizeable round mirror looks good both in the bedroom or bathroom because they bring a sense of depth to your room.
Try putting smaller mirrors next to your bedside lamp, or any other light source, a mirror will help to maximize the light's reach while creating a pretty bedroom effect. Multiple small mirrors can create a charming bedroom effect and allows you to change the arrangement with ease as the mood strikes. Use these on a narrow shelf or attach them to a wall, but be careful to maintain a symmetrical look.
