I had such a lovely day at Royal Ascot, the sun was out,  the Pimms was flowing and being a Jubilee year everything felt that bit more patriotic!

Being in the grandstand we had great views of the Queen arriving by carriage, dressed in a bright turquoise (very on trend!)  She looked fabulous as always. We then had a great view into the royal box where the rest of the royals were out in force….

For me, the highlight of the day was watching the extraordinary Frankel race past the finishing post miles before all the other horses, still unbeaten in 11 races.  I put my bet on!

We also enjoyed singing Land of Hope and Glory at the end of the day with the Union Jack flags waving to the music!
