We are looking ahead to the Summer, here are a few things we have put together that we love this month!

We are getting ready for our holidays this summer and what better way to look stylish by the pool or on the beach than with this Juicy Couture towel. I would carry my towel in a bright tropical print tote, like this Stella McCartney beach bag and style with bright canary yellow sunglasses like these Rayban Wayfarers.

A highlight of my summer is always Taste of London, an amazing food festival in Hyde Park. It is the perfect day to enjoy beautiful food, delicious cocktails and champagne- most of all it is a lovely event to enjoy being in London in the summertime. Last year I was lucky enough to meet Michel Roux Jnr and Marcus Waring and their food was delicious! Get in the mood before you go and pop on to the website to try some amazing recipes from some of the best chefs in the country we love the Taste of Savoy cocktail and I am planning on trying to make the ultimate cheesecake this weekend.

The perfect hair for summer this year is plaits. Wear neat and simple, or loose as a side plait. The easiest way to create a dramatic plait is to try a halo plait across your head and styling with loose curls or up in a sophisticated bun.  Glamour magazine online have a fantastic catalogue of styles for you to copy.

 We are about to settle down with ‘Can we still be friends’ by Alexandra Shulman for our books in bed review this month. The novel is set in the 1980’s and is a story of three friends in the first few tricky years after graduating from University. We cannot wait to curl up with it, read along with me and let me know your thoughts on our Facebook or Twitter pages.

A pinnacle event on the summer calendar is Royal Ascot, this year even more so as it is a celebration of the Queens Diamond Jubilee.  A quintessentially British event, the races are where fashion meets tradition.  With Ascot the hats are almost as famous as the horse racing itself, I have put together a few of my favourites. Team with a simple cream outfit for a beautiful combination.
