It's an early start to get to the London studio for Feather & Black’s photo-shoot. The day starts with the lovely team setting the scene; stylists are ironing and steaming the bed linen, while Tim (the photographer) and his assistant work out the lighting to create a cosy atmosphere for the shoot. The models Jonna and Richard are in make-up, not that they need it, and after a few test shots they're in position for the shoot. The team work hard to create character and a (warm, homely, romantic) mood. The models have amazing chemistry and look beautiful together.
Soon the set is changed and after a new application of make-up, the models are ready to go. After a few shots we all hear a 'Ding Dong' from Tim and we have the perfect shot. For the second look Jonna and Richard are styled to look as though they have arrived home from beautiful evening together and Richards bow tie is seductively pulled off by Jonna. The tag line for this ad might be 'The best part of the night out is turning in'.
It's another early start. Today we are shooting the beautiful Mel in some Monday morning shots. Lucky her she gets to cosy up in our Super King size Sienna bed ( we are all very envious) it’s not long before 'Ring-a-Ding' from Tim and we have another great shot. This one is our favourite and I think this is the advert we are going to lead our campaign with so look out for it….
After lunch all hands are on deck as the set is completely changed for the adorable Tabatha, our lovely little model. With pink accessories styled on our Noah collection creating the perfect princess bedroom. Tabatha is a natural; she reads us a fairy tale, followed by some bouncing on the bed in her butterfly wings, she even plays a game of peek-a-boo with Andrew. Our tagline for this one might be 'A Place where fairies earn their wings'.
The photo shoot went amazingly and we just need to choose our winning shots for our new advertising campaign, have a look out for them over the next few weeks…
