Books In Bed

This week I have been curling up in bed with a novel by Peter James – ‘Perfect People’…

Perfect People, Peter James

A quick Summary

Learning, through the death of their young son Halley that they are carriers of a gene that will likely give their children a rare genetic disease, Naomi & John visit a secret clinic for creating a designer baby. And that is where the story spirals and their nightmare begins…

A mixture between crime and science fiction this novel teams the idea of religious sect with the idea of creating “designer babies.” A definite page turner, and once I started the book I wanted to know how it ended, there are lots of twists and turns.

It as a thought provoking novel, with the extreme viewpoints of both sides of “designing a baby” and the incredibly scary idea of creating a genetic upper-class…It really makes you think – What would I do?

It really is a clever page-turner; you won’t be able to put down.

If you have read our ‘Book In Bed – ‘Perfect People’ I would love to hear your thoughts…

Love

Holly
